Just like the tests you took back in school, preparation is important to improving your chances of passing the safety inspection. Nothing is more frustrating and costly than having to go through re-inspection, and we at AutoStream want to make sure that doesn’t happen to you. Here are some tips that can set you up for success before your inspection:
Get Rid of The Check Engine Light
If the check engine light is on during an inspection, you are guaranteed to fail it. Check engine lights are warning signals from your vehicle letting you know something is wrong. You’ll want to get rid of it before the inspection to have any chance of passing. Fortunately, a common cause for this warning signal is a loose gas cap. Before your next drive, tighten or replace the gas cap. If the warning signal disappears after a few miles, you’re good to go! If not, then you’ll have to follow our next step:
Service Before Inspection
Even if you’re comfortable handling your car’s repairs, it’s important to have it checked by professionals who know and perform the inspection, like us. Our ASE Master Certified technicians and inspectors can find the trouble points in your vehicle and fix them so they aren’t a problem during the inspection. We help set your vehicle up for success so you can get your vehicle registration and back on the road.
