Recommended at least one to two times a year, it involves taking each tire off the wheel, inspecting the wear pattern, and repositioning them back on the car to distribute wear better and prolong the lifespan of your tires. Tire balances correct the weight imbalance of the tire and wheel assembly, and wheel alignment adjusts the camber, caster, and toe to ensure the tire maintains contact with the road at the right angle. Having the proper tire air pressure in each tire is also crucial, as underinflation results in uneven wear and a higher chance of a blowout. At the same time, overinflation leads to an increased potential for damage and poor traction.
