A Safe Vehicle Is A Smart Vehicle
It’s not the most thrilling part of owning a car in Maryland, but state inspections are an important part of staying safe on the road. If you want to own a vehicle in Maryland, transfer ownership, or move in from another state, the car must first pass an inspection. For many, it’s a tedious step. So, you research and do your due diligence in finding a licensed, reputable place to take your vehicle. Luckily, here at AutoStream Car Care Center, we are licensed to do just that. Our ASE-certified technicians are well-versed in all the tests a vehicle must pass to be declared safe for Maryland’s road operations. If you are new to the state or looking for a one-stop-shop for everything inspection-related, you’ve come to the right place.
After taking the vehicle’s identification number and current mileage, the testing begins. The first thing that gets tackled is the brakes. The pads, calipers, rotors, and everything else that makes up your vehicle’s braking system are given a thorough look to ensure it’s intact the way it needs to be. If brake pads are worn down past a certain point, the owner must exchange them before a passing score can be given. The same goes for the rotors and the calipers: any defects or severe wear-and-tear must be dealt with immediately. Next are the tires. The wheels are inspected for tread thickness as well as alignment. We check the toe and casters, nuts and bolts, studs, and everything else that goes into a functioning set of safe tires. If any recommendations affect the car’s safety, they have to be dealt with before a passing grade can be given. This process cascades throughout the entire car. When a Maryland vehicle inspection is complete, your technician has checked over the steering system, exhaust system, electrical system, and sometimes even the suspension system. Everything from your windshield wipers to the door hinges and mirrors is looked at to ensure that everyone will be safe on the road with your car driving down the street.
We ensure your entire car is looked over thoroughly before placing our stamp of approval on it. Even if the wear and tear on your vehicle aren’t steep enough to trigger a failing grade, we still give you a line-by-line outline of the condition of your systems, what needs to stay on your radar, and how much you’ll be looking at fixing it in the future. We make sure you’re taken care of; we make sure we file the proper paperwork, and we answer all of your questions before you head out. So, call us at 410-505-8027 or stop in and see us personally at 8527 Liberty Rd Ste A, Randallstown, MD 21133. Don’t let just anyone handle your Maryland vehicle inspection.
